Ingredients
- 1 cup of oat milk (or other plant-based milk)
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt (it serves to enhance the flavor)
- Optional: ground cinnamon to taste
Steps
Step 1: Put all the ingredients in a small saucepan and stir until all the cocoa powder dissolves in the milk
Step 2: Take the pan to medium heat stirring non-stop. Stir until it thickens to the point you prefer
Step 3: Remove from heat, transfer to a cup and sprinkle with ground cinnamon (optional)
Tips
1: The step of mixing the ingredients can take a while because cocoa is difficult to dissolve in liquids. If you prefer to beat all the ingredients in a blender, this is the fastest and easiest way to mix. Do this before putting it in the fire
