Ingredients
- Yams – 3 units = 240g approximately
- Filtered water – 800 ml
- Optional: Hydrated pitted dates – 3 pcs
Steps
Step 1: Peel the yams and cut them into smaller pieces. Transfer them to a pan with water and cook until they are soft
Step 2: Drain the water and put the yams in the blender, add the filtered water and the dates (optional), beat well until smooth
Step 3: If you are using dates to sweeten, strain the milk using a clean, fine dish towel, or a strainer
Step 4: If you're not using dates, you don't need to strain the milk
Tips
1: This milk lasts about 5 days if well kept in the fridge
