Ingredients
- 3 minced garlic cloves
- 1/2 medium onion cut into strips
- 1/2 cup (of tea) of red or yellow bell pepper cut into strips
- 2 teaspoons grated ginger
- 2 cups (of tea) of sliced fresh shiitake (about 150g)
- 1 small bunch of chopped broccoli (about 300g)
- 1 cup (of tea) of water
- 1/3 cup (of tea) of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon wheat flour or cornstarch
- Optional: 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
Steps
Step 1: In a bowl, put the water, soy sauce, wheat flour or cornstarch, mix well and set aside
Step 2: In a pan over medium heat, put a drizzle of oil, sauté the garlic cloves and the onion cut into strips until they are lightly golden
Step 3: Add the red pepper, ginger and saute for about 3 minutes
Step 4: Add the sliced fresh shitake, the chopped broccoli and sauté until the broccoli is audible
Step 5: Add the mixture of water and soy sauce, mix and let it thicken
Step 6: Optional: Add toasted sesame oil
Tips
1: Serve with white rice and salad, it's delicious
2: You can use the water to hydrate the shitake to make the broth
3: You can make the recipe without the peppers too
