Ingredients

  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • 1/2 medium onion cut into strips
  • 1/2 cup (of tea) of red or yellow bell pepper cut into strips
  • 2 teaspoons grated ginger
  • 2 cups (of tea) of sliced fresh shiitake (about 150g)
  • 1 small bunch of chopped broccoli (about 300g)
  • 1 cup (of tea) of water
  • 1/3 cup (of tea) of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon wheat flour or cornstarch
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil

Steps

  • Step 1: In a bowl, put the water, soy sauce, wheat flour or cornstarch, mix well and set aside

  • Step 2: In a pan over medium heat, put a drizzle of oil, sauté the garlic cloves and the onion cut into strips until they are lightly golden

  • Step 3: Add the red pepper, ginger and saute for about 3 minutes

  • Step 4: Add the sliced fresh shitake, the chopped broccoli and sauté until the broccoli is audible

  • Step 5: Add the mixture of water and soy sauce, mix and let it thicken

  • Step 6: Optional: Add toasted sesame oil

Tips

  • 1: Serve with white rice and salad, it's delicious

  • 2: You can use the water to hydrate the shitake to make the broth

  • 3: You can make the recipe without the peppers too
